On The Daily

Hello, 

Today I woke up at 7:30, Charlie the cat was standing on my face. When I got up, I felt like I didn't want to do anything. Haha, so I did some floor exercises listening to Drake then I worked in the garden for about 2 hours. Made a huge cup of coffee and breakfast then went upstairs to write some tunes. I did that till about 5pm. 

I finished a song I was working on called, "Little Rebel." Now, I've just had some dinner and diving into a Skype writing session with Mike James and Jeff Dawson over in Vancouver.

It's so beautiful here. That is what I did today. I wish you an awesome day too <3

Where I'm at.

Hello from Switzerland. Melien, ZH to be exact. 
I've lived here from time to time for the past 4 1/2 years, but up until now I've been pretty vague about this place. AKA. Farmhouse in Central Europe. Haha. Now that I'm back after 5 months, and it's springtime.. I literally wake up every morning wondering whether I've died and am in heaven - so I thought I'd share. 

The house is about 200 + years old. It's built on the side of the road where "farmland" begins in Meilen. Pretty much means you can't build condos here. xx The house is heated with wood stove only, we chop wood together a few times a year. Oh! Together! Roomates. I gots 5 of 'em. Actually 6 right now we've adopted an extra... also one of them is the better half of  me.  Recently my roomie Stefan built a Finnish sauna. THE.BEST. There are also sheep who live in the barn part of the house, but geez, I"ll save that for another post. We have a nice little view of the lake from the bedroom window - best for swimming summer nights. It's paradise.

Here, I write songs all day. I wrote Kodiak here, and now I'm writing the new record. Everyday I wake up, wonder if I'm dead and in heaven, make copious amounts of coffee and write shitloads of songs.
